Patrick Essex, age 52, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021.  Patrick proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1986 - 1988.  He loved the outdoors, biking, hunting and camping.  Patrick will be remembered by his parents, Terry and Patricia; sister, Danielle (Seth) Diehl; nephews, Brice and Harrison; son, Connor; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  There will be a private family service honoring Patrick.

So sad to hear about Pat. We had some great times in high school together. Especially our spring break trip when people kept asking to take pictures with him because they thought he was Rob Lowe.
