Debra Kammeraad, age 64, of Kentwood, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Debra was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking, sports, gardening and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Patricia VanOtterloo.  Debra will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Scott; children, Adam Kammeraad, Heather (Ryan) Abbassee; grandchildren, Tatum, and Brinkley; sisters, Vicki Lynn, Michelle (David) LaCourse; brother, Perry (Becky) Kogelschatz; mother-in-law, Patricia Kammeraad; brother-in-law, Brian (Shari) Kammeraad; and many nieces and nephews. The family will greet visitors on Tuesday, January 18, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68 St. SE, where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 19, at 1:00 PM. Contributions in memory of Debra may be made to the American Lung Association.
