Arleen Jane (Zaagman) Kuipers, age 89, saved by grace, joyfully entered the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, June 10, 2021. In life, her passions were plain and simple, frugal and practical. Yet, she shared generously and freely of her time and finances with her church and worldwide missions to support the spread of the Good News - Jesus loves you! John 3:16 - Look it up! It will change your life now and for eternity! Arleen was very adventurous and loved planning a trip, going to a parade or festival, or camping with family to enjoy God's gift of nature and the great outdoors. She made sure her kids and grandkids shared these adventures with her! Arleen was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Leon Kuipers. She was a precious mom, grandma, and great grandma and will be lovingly remembered by her children, Rick and Sue Kuipers, Sheryl and Wayne Fredricks, Lenora and Larry Koetsier; her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Kelly and Jairo (Sean, Natasha) Solano, Ryan (Paisley) Kuipers, Kristen and John (Robert, Elaina, Case) Witvoet, Kerry Kuipers, Rebecca and Luke (Isaiah, Asher, Keturah) Koops, Laura and John (Hope, Judah, Ezra, Hazel) Arens, Tim and Stephanie (Natalie, Hailey, Hunter) Fredricks, Sarah Fredricks, Elizabeth Koetsier, Brian and Patti (Emily, Levi, Heidi, Baby ?) Koetsier, Mark Koetsier. She is also survived by her siblings, Len and Anita Zaagman, Trudy and Jerry Oele; her in-law's, George and Frieda Kuipers; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 17, from 6 - 8 PM at Stroo Funeral Home, and on Friday, June 18, from 10 - 10:45 AM at Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 7171 Willard Ave. SE, where the funeral service celebrating Arleen's faith and life in Christ will be held Friday at 11 AM.
