Lillian L. Hubbel, age 88, of Grand Rapids, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, June 26, 2021. She believed in Him her entire life as she loved her family and friends through times of joy, sadness or pain. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Bruce L. Hubbel. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and David Riebel, Mary and David VanderLaan, Jackie and Ron Vigh; eight grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren with two more on the way; two sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, July 19, from 6 - 7 PM at Stroo Funeral Home, where a memorial service will begin at 7 PM. Lillian's cremated remains will be interred next to her husband at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Lillian may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
