I was saddened to learn of Chuck's passing. My brother was a long-time fellow resident with Chuck at Pine Grove, and I got to know Chuck a bit when I would visit there. He particularly liked it when I brought our small dog along, and he very much enjoyed petting her. My condolences to his family. He will be missed.

Chuck will always have a place in my heart as well as the other staff members and residents of Pine Grove. Chuck was well loved by all of us. He loved us too. Some of my favorite memories of him include playing the game Sorry which he won a lot! He loved a lot of ketchup on his food. He was always sweet to his fellow residents. He absolutely loved the song "Elvira" by the Oak Ridge Boys and wanted to listen to it a lot. He liked the music groups Eagles and The Beatles. He had a record player and a lot of records that he enjoyed listening to. He liked a lot of different music. He was always friendly and loving to his fellow residents. He was so sweet when he went to visit one of the residents when she was in an accident. He loved to collect hats. He was known as the 'hat guy'. He also loved Mountain Dew. He loved John Wayne movies too. He will be greatly missed. Much love to his family and friends.
