Special thanks to nephew, Harold and Marcia Diedering for faithfully bringing him to church and nephew, Dean and Susan Diedering for weekly shopping and lunch. Henry served in the Dutch Marines in Indonesia between 1945 and 1948. He immigrated from the Netherlands with his then fiancé, Tena in 1950. They wed in 1951. Henry was a humble man who loved and served his family. He enjoyed travelling and photography and shared this by creating travelogues that he presented to many church and senior citizen groups. Henry was the founder of Harvest Health Foods where he worked until the age of 92. He leaves a great legacy of hard work, dedication, and love for others that his family is honored to carry on. He had a passion for helping others and had a true servant’s heart. Henry was a long-time, dedicated member of Kelloggsville CRC, where he served as deacon and elder for many years. The family wishes to thank the Holland Home staff for their excellent care of Henry. The family will greet visitors on Monday, September 27 from 5-8 pm at Kelloggsville Christian Reformed Church, 610 52nd St. SE and one hour prior to the celebration of life service (10 – 10:45 am) which will be held on Tuesday, September 28, at 11 am with Rev.
