Julianne Rose Dykhouse, age 19, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, October 3, 2021, after a 6-month battle with cancer. She loved animals and being out in nature. She enjoyed singing, reading, writing stories, and playing chess. She was proud of her Filipino heritage. She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her parents, Daryl and Ruth Dykhouse; her sisters, Lydia (Aaron) Neumayer, Lucy, Emma, and Evie Dykhouse; her grandma, Nettie Dykhouse; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ben and Esther Eisma, and Al Dykhouse; and uncle, Jim Dykhouse. Julianne graduated from Byron Center Christian School and The Potter’s House where she loved singing on the praise team and spending time with her friends. The family will greet visitors on Sunday, October 10, from 2-4 and 6-8pm at First Cutlerville Christian Reformed Church, 1425 68th St SW. A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, October 11 at 1pm at the church with Rev. Josh VanDrunen and Rev. Ken VanWyk officiating. Interment will be at Winchester Cemetery. The family would like to thank Hospice of Michigan and the 8th, 9th, and 10th floor staff of Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital for their wonderful and tender care. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Julianne may be made to Byron Center Christian School or The Potter’s House. |
