Eric Matthew Bouchard, age 39, of Cutlerville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 14, 2021. Eric was an avid Michigan State football and basketball fan. He enjoyed walking and riding his bike on the Kent Trails and loved dogs, volunteering many hours in helping them. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Brianna; his father, Harold Steven Jr. (Tina Marie) Bouchard; mother, Kimber (Douglas) Madden; brothers, Andrew Rounds, John Bouchard, Jessy Alexander; Eric's god children, Ira and Ava Alexander; step-siblings, Monica Decker, Christian Lewis, Brianna Lewis; grandmother, Janet Glidden; nieces, Lexi Doyle, Kelsey Gallant, Riley Gallant; aunts and uncles, Kitten Louise Thompson, Tamara Ford, Ted Perkins, Jack Perkins; and several close friends.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold S. Bouchard, Sr., and Evelyn (Jack) Perkins. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 23, at Stroo Funeral Home. There will be an hour of visitation prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Land of the Strays in Costa Rica.
