Arthur F. Kent, age 72, of Newaygo, MI, formerly of Wyoming, MI, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Prins; brother-in-law, Harry Coles.  Arthur is lovingly remembered by his wife of 10 years, Patty; children, Kathy (Michael) Hefferen, Heather Kent, David (Dawn) Kent; stepson, Jeremy (Megan) Dysard; grandchildren, Whitney, Tyler, Travis, Drake, and Jackson; sisters and brother, Carol Sias, Margaret (Jack) Van De Bunte, Mary Coles, Darcy Kent, Faith Kent; and his beloved dogs.  Art proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  The family will greet relatives and friends at Stroo Funeral Home on Friday, December 3 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 - 8 PM.  The funeral service will be held at Stroo Funeral Home on Saturday, December 4, at 11 AM, with Rev. Evan Heerema officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of West Michigan.
