Angie Mae Hoolsema, age 88, went to be with Jesus on Monday, November
29, 2021. Angie was born on March 19, 1933, in Rudyard, Michigan, to the
late John and Lena Hoolsema. After obtaining her RN degree, Angie served
as an RN and midwife on the mission field in Nigeria and Sierra Leone
for Christian Reformed World Missions for over 30 years. Angie loved the
joy of the people she worked with and for. She was passionate about
making sure everyone knew the gospel and was unafraid to ask people if
they had a saving relationship with her Savior, Jesus Christ. Angie
loved her family and very much enjoyed being involved in their lives.
Surviving are her brother, Gerald (Ann) Hoolsema; her sister-in-law,
Laurel Hoolsema; her brother-in-law, Carl Botting; and many nieces and
nephews. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial
service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made
to World Renew (www.WorldRenew.net).
