Robert H. (Uncle Bob) Selvius, age 66, the big guy with the giant heart who was everyone’s friend, slipped away quietly and peacefully at his home on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, after enduring two years of heart disease.   Bob was a faithful employee of TerryTown RV for 44 years and worked all of the job descriptions but ultimately found the most joy in stocking the lot on his big Kubota tractor.  He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all of his coworkers.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Maegene Selvius.  He is survived by his brother, Tom and Connie Selvius of Holland, and sister, Bonny and Jack Workman of Gun Lake; special nieces and nephews, Angel and Todd Docter (Ella, George); Ryan and Callie Selvius (Xander, Ava, Ryer); Jacqueline and Matt Walker (Isabella, Amelia, Harrison, Bentley); Gabrielle Selvius; Brandon and Kim Workman; Brooks and Marie Workman (Brooklyn, Kylee); and Blake Workman.  Visitation will be prior to the funeral on Wednesday, January 5, beginning at 11:30 am and continue until the funeral at 1:30 pm at Stroo Funeral Home.  Interment will take place in Blain Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to  All Belong, or Dégagé Ministries,

Bob was a friend to anyone he came across. He was the opposite of shy. Selfless. He cared about people to the extent that he risked getting taken advantage of. If you knew him, you have to remember his laugh. I am proud to be able to say he was a great friend of mine too. He will be missed by so many people. RIP Bob.
