Wilda Marie "Willie" Miedema, age 86, of Cutlerville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 16, 2022. Willie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved caring for children and was actively involved in Covenant Christian Reformed Church and Cutlerville Christian Schools. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Randall; siblings, Harvey (Doris) Hyma, Gladys (Casey) Nieuwkoop, Sylvia (Ron) Meulenberg; in-laws, Arnold Miedema, and Vernon (Kathy) Miedema. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 63 years, Melvin; children, Keith (Kristi) Miedema, Wayne (Dierdre) Miedema, Terri (Duane) Huitema, Jay (Glenna) Miedema, Kurt (Karina) Miedema; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Roger (Faith) Miedema; sister-in-law, Thelma Miedema; many nieces and nephews. The family will greet visitors on Thursday, January 20, from 5 - 8 pm at Stroo Funeral Home, and on Friday, January 21, prior to the service from 10 - 10:45 am at Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 7171 Willard Ave. SE, where the funeral service will begin at 11 am. The service will be live-streamed at covenant-crc.org.   Interment will be in Winchester Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to South Christian High School Equipping Hands and Hearts Campaign.
