On Sunday, January 23, 2022, Barbara (Ashby) Glenn, age 77, of Grand Rapids, passed away. Barb loved arts and crafts and enjoyed volunteering at Mel Trotter Ministries. She was also a science fiction fan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; daughter, Rose Glenn; parents, James and Betty Ashby; and sister, Ruth Ashby. Barb will forever be remembered by her children, Deb Murtland, and Jeff (Rachel) Glenn; grandchildren, Martin (Tiffany) Murtland, Racheall (Garrett) Phipps, Eric Murtland, Logan Glenn, Cadence Glenn; great-grandson, Kaleb; six brothers and one sister, many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Saturday, February 5, at Stroo Funeral Home. There will be an hour of visitation prior to the service from 3 - 4 pm. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army. -- |
