Young, Marjorie (Marge) Ann Young began her new life in heaven on Sunday,  February 13, 2022, at the Cambridge Manor in Georgetown Township. Marjorie was born in Paris Township on September 4, 1934, to James and Bertha May (Cran) Postema. Marjorie graduated from Godwin High School and worked for Michigan National Bank in Grand Rapids. Marjorie met and dated Jack Young for two years before they were married on May 8, 1954. Together, they raised four children, and loved each other for sixty-seven years. Marjorie gave back to her community by working and managing elections in Byron Township for thirty years and working as the assistant Township Clerk for sixteen years. She published two family histories and collaborated on a history of St. Sebastian Parish in Byron Township. Marjorie volunteered countless hours at the Byron Historical Museum, where she helped others with their family research. Marjorie was predeceased by her parents and three eldest siblings, Roger (Lorraine) Postema, Gerald (Myrtle) Postema, and Dorothy (Major) Horton, and her in-laws, Jack, and Eva (Campeau) Young. Marjorie will be missed terribly by her husband, Jack, and their children, Kevin (Cynthia Hoppe) Young, Christine (Dave) Burgess, Cheryl (Paul) Winkler, and Nancy (Mike) Gillette, ten grandchildren, Megan Young,  Bryce Young; Lisa Burgess, Jill (Alex) King, Kelly (Alex) Nelson, Erin (Dylan) Carroll, Joel Burgess; Ryan Black, Ryan (Megan) Gillette, Rachel Gillette (fiancé, Cory); her older brother, Robert Postema and younger sister, Eileen DeMann; brother-in-law, and sisters-in-law, Charlene (James) Elderkin, Richard (Carmen) Young, Ilene Bieber, and many nieces and nephews. The family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday, February 20, from 1 - 4 pm with a Prayer Service held at 3:45 pm at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Monday, February 21, at St. Sebastian Catholic Church,  9408 Wilson Ave. SW, Byron Center, with Msgr. William H. Duncan as celebrant. There will be an hour of visitation prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in St. Sebastian Cemetery.
