William "Papa Bill" Foreman, age 88, going on 60, of Morrison Lake, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, surrounded by family. Bill lived his life by God, Family and Country! Bill proudly served his country as a Sergeant / Specialist with the 530th Missile Battalion 7th Army. He introduced himself to nearly everyone as Fred Friendly or Grandpa Bill. Whether he met you 50 years ago or yesterday, he considered you as his friend. He was a jokester and loved a good banter. Bill was born and bred in Columbus, Ohio and a true diehard Buckeye fan of The Ohio State University! His days were filled with sporting events for his grandkids and great grandkids, grilling for those double header cookouts, in his later years driving for BK Motors, and famous for his Texas style BBQ. Bill was also known for helping anyone with a project or just lending a helping hand. He also enjoyed driving the golf cart around visiting neighbors at the lake, he was everybody’s friend.  Bill will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Mary; his children, Michael and Becci Foreman, Randy and Amy Foreman; his grandchildren, Anthony, Macenzie (Bradley), Austin (Hillary), Trenton (Missy), Paige (Tyce), Parker, and Peyton; his great grandchildren, Audri, Emery, Alora, Christian, and Addy Jo; "the brothers", Richard, Bob (Marilyn), and John (Tereasa); as well as a number of extended family and friends. Honoring Bill's wishes, a private family service, including interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, has been held. Memorial contributions may be made to Helen DeVos Children's Hospital Foundation - Pediatric Oncology Resource Team (

Although it has been many years since we were at First Methodist, I remember you and Bill. I was so sorry to hear of his passing, however, I hope the length of your marriage has provided you with many happy memories for the future. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
