Judy L. Groendyke-Tucker, age 77, of Middleville, MI, formerly of Caledonia, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 18, 2022. She is survived by her husband, Eulan Tucker; her four sons, Jim and Melanie, Jerry and Mimih, Jeffery and Trish, Jason and LaShay; 13 grandchildren, Shannon (Chris), Gavon, Lindsey (Mark), Cassandra (Joshua), Joshua, Bailey (Jeff), Tyler (Kristina), Morgan, Logan, Laken, Grace, Ethan, and Austin; 10 great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Jaycee, Oliver, Emilee, Luxley, Stella, Lawson, Finn, Parker, and Elizabeth; her siblings, Janet (Richard) Kutschinski, Joni Vander Till, Jean (Art) Conrad, and James Schreiber; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Barbara (Jack) Huizinga, Joan (Donald) Van Otteren, Beth (Geoff) Cable. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Groendyke Sr.; great-granddaughter, Eslyn Mae; parents, Jack Schreiber and Junellen Schreiber-Offringa (Jake); sister-in-law, Sherrie Crooks. Judy made friends everywhere she went, whether through her Caledonia store, Rainbow's End, her knitting classes, helping at Pennock Hospital in Hastings, or playing euchre with multiple groups. She was a member of Whitneyville Fellowship Church, serving as pastor's wife for 30 years. She always had a smile on her face and a story to tell and could often be found with knitting needles in her hands. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Friday, April 22, from 6 to 9 PM at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 - 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, 49508. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 23, at Whitneyville Fellowship Church, 4935 Whitneyville Ave, Ada, MI, 49301, with Pastor Edwin Carpenter officiating.
