Donald J. Ensing, age 87, of Cutlerville, MI, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; infant son, Kenneth; brother, Ray Ensing; and sister, Lois Scribner.  Don will be lovingly remembered by his children, Laurie (Dale) Dow, Gregory Ensing; grandchildren, Justin (Pam) Roerig, Kristin (Brian) Brenner, Candra (William) Kall, Alayna (Michael) Close, Trevor Roerig; great grandchildren, Mayzen, Parker, Chase, Nolan, Makenzie, Taeghan, Dominick, Grace, Liam; sister, Florence Wheeler; brother, John (Bobbie) Ensing.  Don proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.  He was employed by NASA, in California, where he had the privilege of working on the Apollo program.  After relocating to Michigan, he worked for Meijer, where he retired after many years of service.  The family will greet visitors on Wednesday, June 8, from 5 to 8 PM, at Stroo Funeral Home, also prior to the service at Good News Baptist Church from 10 – 10:45 AM on Thursday, June 9.  The funeral service will be held at Good News Baptist Church, 6830 Eastern Ave SE, Grand Rapids, 49508 at 11 AM, on Thursday, June 9, 2022.  Rev. Brian Cederquist and Rev. Terry Frazine will officiate.  The service will be live-streamed at  Interment will be in Winchester Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Good News Baptist Church Building Fund.

Center and Wyoming. We just had a great conversation a few days ago about our time attending Calvary Church
We know you are at Peace with Jesus and how you loved sharing with all our family thru the years.
