Karen was my Aunt. Growing up in Iowa I always looked forward to her visiting. Karen was always such a gentle insightful soul. I always enjoyed every moment that I got to spend with her. Karen was twelve years older than my mom and one of my favorite stories she would tell is the day my mother was born and she made fired chicken for the family while my grandmother was having my mom. I will miss her but I am glad she is at peace and now is with loved ones. To my cousins I am sorry for your loss. I know what a great lady you loss. Sending you love and prayers.
