Marilyn Ruth Stoutjesdyk, age 93, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, July 7, 2022. Marilyn was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother; and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a great cook and loved to bake. Her husband, Clayton "Bud" Stoutjesdyk; preceded her in death. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jayne (Michael) McIntyre, Thomas (Julie) Stoutjesdyk; grandchildren, Marie McIntyre-Doerr, Jason (Stephanie) McIntyre, Christy (Matthew) Weiland, Katie (TJ) Sitzmann, Matthew (Sheri) Stoutjesdyk, Megan Stoutjesdyk, Jacob (Jackie) Stoutjesdyk, Julia Stoutjesdyk; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Dr. William (Lorraine) VanZytveld; sister-in-law, Shirley Stoutjesdyk; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, July 11, 2022 at the Stroo Funeral Home; 1095 68th Street, SE; with Rev. Ed Visser, officiating. Interment will be in Dutton Cemetery. The family will greet visitors on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and on Monday from 10 to 11 am at the Stroo Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Marilyn may be made to Garden of Hope or Alpha Women's Center.
