On Wednesday, August 3, 2022, Jeffrey Scott Wykstra, age 51, of Wyoming, having kept the faith and finished his race, is now enjoying his heavenly home. Jeff was a strong Christian, full of grace, and a great friend. He was principled and would stand up for those principles. Full of adventure and with a love for the outdoors, Jeff enjoyed running, hiking, and mountain biking. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of nine years, Tara; his parents, Carl and Linda Wykstra; sister, Laura and David Van Eck and their children, Aaron, Kathryn (Jacob), Allison (Tyler), Nathan; along with six great nieces and nephews; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sam and Pam Reitsma; sister-in-law, Tonya and Julian Cervantes and their children, Lydia, Elijah, Ezekiel; and many extended family and dear brothers and sisters in Christ. The family will greet visitors on Monday, August 8, from 5 - 8 pm at Stroo Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, August 9, at Cutlerville East Christian Reformed Church, 501 68th St. SE, with Rev. Craig Scott and Rev. Ray Lanning officiating. Interment will be in Forest Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Hospice or the Pregnancy Resource Center.
