Arlene V. Anstett, age 85, of Grand Rapids, MI, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 25, 2022.  Arlene was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother whose greatest accomplishment was raising and caring for her family.  She will be dearly missed and remembered by her children, Kristy (Bruce) McGregor, Mike (Jane) Anstett; grandchildren, Laura, Katie, and Michael McGregor, Shane Anstett; sisters, Donna Aldrich, Sharon (Bob) Bowden, Diana (Carl) Kangas; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  The family wishes to express special thanks to Cambridge Manor and Spectrum Health Hospice for their loving care.  Visitation will be held on Monday, August 29, from 10 - 11 AM, prior to the service at 11 AM, on Monday, August 29, at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508.  Deacon Jeff Burns will officiate.  Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Baruch Senior Ministries, 3196 Kraft Ave. SE #203, Grand Rapids, MI 49512.  The service will be live-streamed and can be viewed by going to the Stroo Funeral Home, Inc.
