Irma Louise Fennema, age 91, of Kentwood, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 27, 2022. Irma was born and raised in Cutlerville and was a long-time member of First Cutlerville Christian Reformed Church. She served as an elementary school teacher for many years. Irma was preceded in death by her parents, Gerrit and Lois Fennema; her brothers, Paul Fennema and John Fennema; and a sister-in-law, Mary Fennema. She will be lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters, James Fennema, Mary Fennema, David (Evelyn) Fennema, and Esther Gerken; her sisters-in-law, Donna Fennema and Jacquilyn Fennema; as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 2, from 6 - 8 PM at Stroo Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 3, at 11 AM. Rev. Ken VanWyk will be officiating.
