Carl Edward Beauchamp, age 84, of Kentwood, MI, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 3, 2022, surrounded by his family. Carl was born on November 19, 1937 in Milwaukee, WI, to Lawrence and Esther (Egle) Beauchamp. He was a salesman at Capitol Lumber & Wrecking in Grand Rapids and Burlingame Lumber and Wolohan Lumber in Wyoming. Carl proudly served ten years in the 126th Infantry, Company C of the Michigan Army National Guard. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Lawrence Jr. (Shirley) Beauchamp of Gladstone, Kenneth Beauchamp of Escanaba, Raymond (Donna) Beauchamp of Houghton Lake, Norbert (Sally) Beauchamp of Dafter; and his brother-in-law, Harold "Dick" Ring of Kentwood. Carl will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sharon (Berends); children, Paul & Cindy Beauchamp of Byron Center, Julie & Gary Uhl of Grandville, Lori & Randy Brubaker of Kentwood, Michele & Robert Clark of Kentwood; 11 grandchildren, Michael, Kimberly, Jennifer, Bryan, Katie, Emily, Matthew, Zackary, Kailey, Savannah, Kennedy; one great-grandson, Logan; brother, Frank & Kathy Beauchamp of Bark River; sisters-in-law, Louise Beauchamp, Sally Ann Beauchamp both of Escanaba, Phyllis Ring of Kentwood; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 10, at Kentwood Baptist Church, 2875 52nd Street, SE in Kentwood; with Pastor Tom Swedberg, officiating. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will greet visitors on Friday, Sept. 9, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th Street, SE; and on Saturday, Sept. 10, from 1 to 1:45 pm at the church.
