Elaine E. (Wing) Barnaby, age 87, of Caledonia, MI, was called to her heavenly home on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.  Elaine enjoyed golfing, bowling, camping, ceramics, and loved spending time with her family.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, and son-in-law, Michelle (Pete) Service; son-in-law, Michael O'Donald; son-in-law, David Lester.  Elaine will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 69 years, Jay; children, Denise (Doug) Freeman, Roxana Barnaby, Stephanie Lester, Jim Barnaby, Carla Long; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.  The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, September 12, from 6 - 8 PM at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68^th St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508.  Also, prior to the service at the church, Tuesday, September 13, from 10 - 10:45 AM.  The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 13, at 11 AM at Gaines Church, 1612 92nd St. SE, Caledonia, MI, 49316, with Pastor Tom Datema officiating.  Interment will be in Blain Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods.
