Henry "Bud" Spaanstra, age 98, of Wyoming, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.  Bud was preceded in death by his loving wife, Alice in 2017. He was a veteran and proudly served his country in the Navy during World War II. Bud loved and will be missed by his children, Vic (Jan) Spaanstra, Mary (Tom) Burgess, Bruce (Darlene) Spaanstra, and Cindy (Rich) Williams; 12 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. Our family would like to thank the staff at Vista Springs, Wyoming, and also Emmanuel Hospice with special thanks to David, Pastor Vern and Olivia, for the special care they provided for our Dad over the past two years. A private family service with Military Honors was held with interment at Winchester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Hospice.
