Raymond D. Crump, age 47, and Julie AnnMarie (Schwartz) Crump, age 44, passed away tragically following a motorcycle accident on the night of September 17, 2022. Raymond was preceded in death by his mother, Jo Ann Crump, and Julie was preceded by her parents, Jack Schwartz and Yvonne McIntyre. Raymond and Julie are survived by their children, Whitney Schwartz, Kayla Crump, Raymond J. Crump, Sydney Crump, and Kylee Hood; four grandchildren; Raymond's brother, Jason (Sylvia) Crump; Julie's sister, Jennifer (Jason) VanHuis; several nieces and nephews; as well as many extended family members and friends. Raymond and Julie were both born and raised in the Grand Rapids area and have been friends since childhood. They married in 2006 and enjoyed their life together. A sports fan, Raymond was a basketball player and loved to SCREAM at the Lions. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was loyal to his bike club. Most of all, he loved his family. They will miss the big bear hugs that Raymond loved to give. Julie loved her family fiercely and had a special bond with her daughter, Whitney. She had the biggest heart and the strongest backhand, and was a great defender of her family. Julie was a dedicated and loved employee at Arby's for over 20 years, and will be greatly missed by her work family and customers. A memorial celebration of their lives will be held at the Rockford Community Cabin, 200 N. Monroe St., Rockford, MI 49341, on Saturday, September 24, from 5 - 9 PM.
