JoAnn Aimery, age 77, of Caledonia, Michigan passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022; surrounded by her family. Born on February 19, 1945, JoAnn was the loving mother of Howard Smith, of Tucson, Arizona and Allison Thomas of Cleveland, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester Aimery; her daughter, Bethany Smith; grandsons, Christopher Hall and Spencer Smith; and also, her parents, Howard Allen and Chloe Hope Allen. She was a caring twin sister, Joan McClain mother to Howard Smith (Luz Smith), Allison Thomas (Frederick Thomas), and loving grandmother to Kimberly Smith, Andrea Aikens, Joshua Aikens, Chloe Smith, and Hope Smith. She will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren. A memorial service for JoAnn will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508.
