Jack W. Stoepker, age 94, of Grand Rapids, MI, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.  Jack proudly served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army.  He went on to work in the business management field in various Christian and other organizations.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Arline; and his sister, Shirley Sybesma.  Lovingly remembering Jack are his children, Don (Sue) Stoepker, Lynn (Shelly) Stoepker, Gregg (Pat Deaner) Stoepker, Bonnie (Mark) Brame, Ross (Deb) Stoepker, 14 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.  The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, October 13, from 6 to 8 PM, and one hour prior to the service on Friday, October 14, from 10:30 – 11:30 AM, at Stroo Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 14, at 11:30 AM, at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, 49508, with his son-in-law, Mark Brame, officiating.  The service will be live-streamed and can be viewed by visiting our webpage, www.stroofuneralhome.com.  Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions in honor of Jack may be made to Mission Aviation Fellowship (https://maf.org/).

I was so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. There are good memories of our acquaintenance at Millbrook Church and a few times at Holland Home even though we were at different buildings here. My best wishes to the family including Lynn and Shelly at this time
