Phil was always so welcoming and kind whenever I saw him at Chamber of Commerce events. His smile that reached his eyes, genuine interest in whomever he was speaking to, faith, and passion for our community are just a few of his attributes that I will always remember. I’m grateful to have known him, even if just for two years… he sure made a positive impact! Wishing comfort and peace to his family and friends- God Bless.

All of us here at Matrix Printing are saddened to hear the news of Phil's passing. It feels like he was just here working on some event. I've known Phil since his days at the Cutlerville Chamber and have worked closely with him on numerous projects. We will miss his almost daily visits or phone calls and I will be forever grateful for the referrals and support he gave my business throughout the years. God speed Phil, you will be sourly missed.

Words came hard for me at this time. I served alongside Phil at church for several years. Not sure I've ever met a man that worked as hard for the Lord as Phil. He was a friend, a mentor, a model, and a compassionate leader. I shall always remember Phil and strive to be even one tenth the servant of God as he. Rest in peace my friend.
