Ruth Lillian (Lipscomb) Lopez, age 91, of Grand Rapids, MI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.  She graduated from Godwin Heights High School and married Robert Lopez on July 11, 1953.  She was a devoted wife and mother.  Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents, Leon and Elizabeth Lipscomb.  Lovingly remembering Ruth are her sons, Rick Lopez and David Lopez; several cousins and friends.  A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 12, from 3 - 5 PM at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68^th St. SE, Grand Rapids, 49508.  A committal service will be held on Monday, November 14, at 10 AM, at Resurrection Cemetery, 4100 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, 49509.  Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Paws With A Cause.
