Trina Brock, age 92, entered her heavenly home on Sunday, November 6, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven; brother, Abel; sister-in-law, Althea Hulzebos; and brothers-in-law, Stan Ellens, Fred LeFebre, Minert Brock Jr., and Robert Brock. Trina humbly served the Lord throughout her lifetime, working many years at Pine Rest Christian Hospital as a nurse, and doing volunteer work for the underserved. She left a beautiful legacy behind and will be deeply missed by her children, David (Jennifer) Brock, Thomas (Patricia) Brock, Ronald (Marcia) Brock, Phillip (Pam) Brock, DeAnne (Tom) Penning; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joanne Ellens, Willard (Joyce) Brock, Shirlene (John) Mulder, Gladys (David) Mulder, Rolene (Adrian) Gilder, Tress Brock, Jean (Bill) DeWaard, Ardean (Gerry) Brock-Garvelink, John (Patricia) Talsma, Tressa Noffke, Lorraine Slagh, Marty (Dale) Suit, Bernice (Bill) Grooters, Bertha Talsma. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 15, from 4-7 pm at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St SE, Grand Rapids. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 16 at 1 pm at Hillside Community Church, 1440 68th St SE, Grand Rapid, with Pastor Tom Penning officiating. There will be an hour of visitation prior to the service at the church. Interment will be Thursday, November 17, in Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
