Wendell I. Dunlap, age 90, of Grand Rapids, MI, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.  He enjoyed working on puzzles, fishing, and driving truck.  Wendell was preceded in death by his wife, Neva; parents, Ivan and Alta Dunlap; brother, Dwight Dunlap; granddaughter, Karen Strauss; great-grandson, Jordon.  Lovingly remembering Wendell are his children, Beth Lee, Clark Dunlap; granddaughter, Tonya Lee; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Cordero, Antony Cordero, Sheyenne Shannon, Ryan Crawford; great-great-grandson, Marquel Shannon Jr.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, from 4 to 6 PM at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508.  The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 7, at 12 Noon at Calvary Baptist Church, 1200 28th Street SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49548.  Rev. Jeff Halsted will officiate. There will be an hour of visitation prior to the service from 11 am - 12 noon. Interment will be in Alpine Center Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
