In Loving Memory of Timothy E. Ellens
Timothy E. Ellens, a devoted servant of the Lord, a loving family man, and a passionate car enthusiast, peacefully entered eternal rest on December 21, 2022. At 80, Tim's remarkable journey ended, leaving a legacy of faith, love, and a genuine passion for life. Timothy proudly served in the U.S. Army and the Michigan National Guard, embodying the values he held dear throughout his life. A family man, Tim cherished his relationships with his wife, Peggy A., and their children, Michelle (Dan), Scott (Julie), and Sanders (Cheryl). He was a doting grandfather to nine grandchildren and a cherished great-grandfather to ten great-grandchildren, leaving an indelible mark on their lives. Apart from family, Timothy had a lifelong passion for fixing cars, bringing life back to machines and inspiring those around him with his love for classic automobiles. Timothy is survived by his sisters, Pamela and Kristin; brother-in-law, James Peter Bylsma; and sisters-in-law, Della DeBoer and Linda DeBoer, whose memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 16 at 11:00 AM at Stroo Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Jeff Manion, a close friend and spiritual mentor who will share the profound impact Timothy had on others. A one-hour visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11 AM. Timothy's earthly remains were laid to rest in Blain Cemetery, a peaceful resting place. In his memory, the family requests contributions to the Gideon's or Faith Hospice, honoring his compassion for others. Timothy E. Ellens will be remembered as a devoted man of faith, a loving family man, and a skilled mechanic. Though he is deeply missed, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. May he find eternal peace and joy in the embrace of his Heavenly Father, his love and legacy enduring within us. In Lieu of flowers, please contribute to Faith Hospice or Gideons.
