Steve McBride and I just visited Don a little over a week ago, he was in Great spirits and Steve and I had him laughing about the good old days at the cabin between Houghton Lake and Harrison, it was clear he knew what we had been discussing with him because he would laugh like oh yea I remember that. We talked about when they hauled the trailer up there, the Green Trailer we had next to it for years, the 6 wheel Argos, the doe with faun that we cut out of her as she was recently hit. His crazy younger brothers, Rex(Howard), Tom, and Ken and some of the crazy antics that went on in the Great white north. God bless uncle Don, may he be enjoying his eternal new life with our lord and savior in Heaven. May his family know that we all cared about him and his memories will remain with us all until we join him one day.
