Cornelius Dale Korhorn

Service: 10:30 am Saturday, May 20, at Princeton CRC, 5330 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508

Cornelius Dale Korhorn, age 90, of Byron Center, MI, went home to our Lord on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Martha Korhorn; daughter, Rachel (Matthew) Kirchgestner, son, Benjamin (Karen Shipley) Korhorn; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Cornie spent 23 years on the mission field in Nigeria, Africa, bringing the Good News. He was a teacher admired by his students. He was a seminarian and enjoyed his Theological studies. One of his greatest loves was singing with "The King's Choraliers", which he did for 35 years. Finally, he was an avid reader, a history and archeology buff, a stargazer, and he loved to tinker and create little things to make life easier. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, May 20, at Princeton Christian Reformed Church, 5330 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508. Rev. Larry Slings will officiate.
