Matilda "Tillie" Luikes, age 96, of Kentwood, was called to her heavenly home on Saturday, May 20, 2023, and is now reunited with family. Tillie loved spending time with her family and enjoyed gardening, sewing, traveling, and volunteering. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; son, Dale Luikes; granddaughter, Cindra Zwart; and her nine siblings. Surviving are her son, Keith Luikes; grandchildren, Kim Herwyer, Jeff Herwyer, Chrissty (Dennis) Petrie, Tamra (Wayne) Baker, Kelly Modzelewski, Jason Luikes, Tracey (Jake) Visser; 27 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.  The family will greet visitors on Thursday, June 1, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm at Stroo Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, June 2, at Stroo Funeral Home. Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
