Rachel "Midge" Mitchell, age 75, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. Midge proudly served her country in the U.S. Navy, worked for Terry Berry for many years, retiring as supervisor.  She enjoyed gardening and crafting. Her husband, Donald Sr; and sister, Mary Binette, preceded her in death.  Midge will be lovingly remembered by her children, Don R. Mitchell II, Elaine (Kyle) Anderson; grandchildren, Michael (Lauryn), Raechael (Ivan), Salynn, Kiella-Rose; great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Kaidence, Maleigha, Mabel, Mathias; brothers, Richard (Barbara) Binette, Donald (Ruth) Binette; sister-in-law, Sylvia Seamands; many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
