Cornelia ​A. "Connie" Van Singel, age 98, of Byron Center, was called to her heavenly home on Saturday, July 1, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Harris; her sons, Larry Van Singel and James Van Singel. Connie will be lovingly remembered by her son, Ronald and Fayth (Alles) Van Singel; daughter, Sue and Bruce Walcott; daughter-in-law, Juanita (Schierbeek) Van Singel; grandchildren, Monica (Keith) Van Wienen, Jeff (Amber) Van Singel, Brandon (Mindy) Van Singel, Ronald (Erika) Van Singel II, Wynnelle (Steve) Witte, Amanda (Dan) Pluger, Stacey (Jimmy) VandenBerg, Jason (Callan) Walcott; 24 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Roger Zeeff; and many nieces and nephews. The family will greet visitors on Thursday, July 6, from 10 -11 am at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, where the funeral service will begin at 11 am. Rev. Rick Vanderwal will officiate. Interment will be in Winchester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice.
