Rose Meyerink (Dykstra), age 85, of Byron Center, MI, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. Rose had a love for God, all God's children, and His creation. She enjoyed gardening, and all that the earth and the land provides. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents, Joseph and Dora Dykstra; three brothers; and two sisters. Lovingly remembering Rose are her children, Cindi (Tom) Lowary, Penny Meyerink, Gary (Mary) Meyerink, Sherry Kelley (Timothy Ryder), Robin (Dave) Leclerc; 11 grandchildren, Dan, Jen, Mike, Jacob, Tara, Luke, Amanda, Robert, Chris, John, Michaela; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Bertha Talsma, Marge Geukes, Judy Knight, Beverly Dykstra; many sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; and nephews. The family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday, July 9, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, at Stroo Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 10, at 11 AM at Byron Center United Methodist Church, 2490 Prescott St. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315, with Pastor Jim Walker officiating.
