Judy M. Kubizna, age 78, of Wyoming, Mi, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 4, 2023. Judy was the office manager at Wyoming Animal Hospital for 25 years. She had a lifelong love for animals, especially cats and dogs, and made quite a dent in the stray population, always providing a home for one in need. She enjoyed reading, going for walks and bowling.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary; brother, Bill Wright; parents, Bill and Amy Wright; brother-in-law, Mike Kubizna; and niece, Sherrie Swanson. Judy will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Connie Hunt and her husband, Terry, and Tracey Kubizna; grandchildren, Jennifer (Travis) Sears, Stefanie (Walt) Dean, Ricci (Sam) Start, R.J. Stebe; great grandchildren, Roxxana and Kenzie; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jo Ellen Wright, Dorothy Neal, Charlene Kubizna, Perry (Gigi) Kubizna, Paulette Kubizna, Debbie (Greg) Miller; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  As Judy requested, cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 8 from 6 - 8 pm and Wednesday, August 9, from 10 - 11 am at Stroo Funeral Home, where a memorial service will begin at 11 am on Wednesday. Interment will be in Winchester Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Kent County Humane Society.
