George G. Raterink, age 82, of Caledonia, MI, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023.  George came from a long line of craftsmen and worked in Tool and Die at General Motors for 32 years.  He enjoyed working with his hands and was a very talented wood worker.  He absolutely loved playing games and especially enjoyed golfing.  George will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his wife of nearly 63 years, Patricia; children, John (Connie) Raterink, Christine Raterink; grandchildren, Sarah (Christopher) Loveall, Michael (Cora-Lyn) Grammatico, John (Jennifer) Raterink; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Charlotte, Norah, Adeline, Josiah; sister, Shirley (Ron) Vonk.  A private family committal service will be held at Hooker Cemetery, Leighton Township, with Rev. Ron Tuinstra officiating.  Memorial contributions in honor of George may be made to Faith Hospice or Byron Center Bible Church.
