Dear Brian and Dana,
I am so sorry for your loss of your beloved mom. Although I only met her once at our family Thanksgiving, I enjoyed getting to know her and remember her kind and gentle spirit. Getting to know you over the years, Brian, the good man you are is a great testament to your mom and dad and the blessings they brought to the world, and to our family in particular. I thank God for your mother, and for you, Brian and Dana. May God's love and promises give you comfort.

With much sympathy, Aunt Peg

Brian,
While I never met your mom, I feel like I knew her through the stories from Dana and my sister Lucille, and you. She sounds like a remarkable and extremely gifted woman. I was so sad and sorry to hear about her passing. I know it’s especially hard to lose someone close to Alzheimer's. You lose them slowly with each visit. Incredibly hard.
I am so grateful to have some of her needlepoint pieces that showcase her talent and artistry. My smile will be even brighter now when I look at them knowing she is in heaven, clear minded and reunited with your father.
Your wife, my niece, Dana, is one of our earthly angels and I am so proud of how she loved, cared, and supported you and your mom all the years she knew her.
Sending warm hugs and much love during this difficult time.
Aunt Jody
