Dolores May "Dee" Hulsebus (Kozarski), age 92, of Grand Rapids, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023. Dee was born on August 31, 1931, to John and Sophie Kozarski. She graduated from Mt. Mercy Academy in 1949 and worked for General Motors for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Jim; and a special cousin, Joan Richards.  Dee will be lovingly remembered by her children, Ken (Robin) Firlik of Holland, John (Olga) Hulsebus of Mattawan, Joe (Lana) Hulsebus of Oshtemo, granddaughters, Alixandria (Kevin) Scott, Chelsia Firlik, Laura Hulsebus; grandsons, Beau (Amber) Firlik, Luke Hulsebus; great-granddaughters, Kendyl Scott, Annalise Myers; great grandsons, Everett Myers, Hudson Myers, Kole Scott; and her many special care givers and friends. The family will greet visitors on Thursday, October 19, from 10 - 11 am at Stroo Funeral Home (1095 68th St. SE), followed by the funeral service at 11 am. Fr. Peter Vu will officiate. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
