Beau D. Strahl, age 42, of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.  Beau was a smart and resourceful person who could excel at any work project he put his mind to.  He loved his son and enjoyed teaching all about the world around him.  He will be deeply missed by his wife, Sarah Bonzheim; daughter, Layla Strahl; son, Beau Polmanteer; step-children, Ryan, Richie, Elizabeth; his mother, Ann Leete; father, Russ Polmanteer; brother, Sean Strahl; sister, Stephanie Chandler; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Terri Bonzheim; and several nieces and nephews.  The family will greet visitors on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 12 noon to 1 pm at the Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th Street, SE, Grand Rapids, MI; where a service will begin at 1:00 PM.  Contributions in memory of Beau can be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
