With loved ones by her side, Hon Trinh Tran, age 73, of Byron Center, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Hon was a sweet, honest, and gentle soul. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, she will be deeply missed by her husband of 53 years, Khuon; children, Hoa and Kelly Doty, Doug and Kieu Tran, Phuong and Bruce Lai, Ngoc and Shawn Capps, Sara Tran; 12 grandchildren which were her pride and joy, Devin, Darren, Kent, Cameran, An, Ashlyn, Nathan, Grace, Isaac, Trevor, Elijah, Sophie; four brothers and four sisters. The family will greet visitors on Friday, January 26, from 3 - 6 pm and Saturday, January 27, from 12 noon to 1 pm at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, 49508, where the funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Interment will be in Winchester Cemetery.
