Marilyn J. DeHaan, age 92, of Cutlerville, MI, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 8, 2024.  She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, whose faith and love of family shown in all she did.  In her spare time, she enjoyed coaching, bowling, softball, and was an avid Tigers fan.  Marilyn also loved baking, reading and was a talented gardener.  She was preceded in death by her son, Michael; daughter, Carol Pollock; granddaughter, Hannah; sister-in-law, Helen Timmerman.  Marilyn will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her husband of 67 years, Neal; children, Roger (Jean) DeHaan, Rick (Anita) DeHaan, Kathy (Mitch) VanderLaan; grandchildren, Danny, Seth (Mel), Sam (Lauren), Mandy, Justin (Kelly), Jaimie, Alisha, Sarah, Nathan (Lexi), Jacob (Nicole), Patrick; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Bernard Timmerman; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Esther Jordan, Jeanette Dick, Peter DeHaan; many nieces and nephews.  The family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday, February 11, from 6 to 8 PM at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, 49508.  The funeral service will be held at Cutlerville East Christian Reformed Church, 501 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, 49508, on Monday, February 12, at 11 AM, with a one-hour visitation prior to the service, from 10 - 11 AM.  Rev. Ed Visser will officiate.  Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
