Brandon Lee Visser, at the young age of 54, of Westmont, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, March 30, 2024.  Brandon was always a hardworking man who was passionate about what he did. Brandon assisted on many notorious projects aiding with 9/11, the San Diego Navy Forces, and many more. The projects he touched will always bear his memory. Brandon enjoyed watching sports, playing guitar, reading, fly fishing, and tying flies. He was always eager to learn and continued learning throughout his life. Brandon had a great sense of humor and was always cracking a joke.  He held his faith close to his heart and his faith never wavered; we know God is now with him. Brandon was also a loving father to his two children, Nathan and Rachael. Brandon loved the holidays. Every year he and his children would watch Christmas vacation while enjoying a holiday tin of popcorn. Brandon left many fond memories with his children, taking them to Six Flags, watching movies together, and going to baseball games. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts. He was predeceased by his aunt, Helen “Chris” Tulppo. He left behind his son, Nathan (Melissa); grandson, Walker; and his daughter, Rachael Miret (Enrique); grandsons, Enrique “Indy” and Rio; his parents, Craig and Marsha; and his siblings, Jennifer, Mckenzie, Lisa, Kristen, and Blake. The family will greet visitors from 12 to 1 pm on Saturday, April 13, at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68^th St. SE, Grand Rapids, 49508, followed by the service from 1 to 2 pm.
