W. Jay Roosien, age 89, of Caledonia, MI, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 27, 2024.  He was preceded in death by daughter, Kathy Door; and seven of his siblings.  Lovingly remembering Jay is his wife of 68 years, Jeanne; children, Kevin (Terri) Roosien, Scott (Debbie) Roosien; son-in-law, Jack (Sharon) Door; grandchildren, Bryan Door, Nick (Abbey) Door, Ben (Celeste) Roosien, Mark (Claire) Roosien, Nicole Roosien (fiancé, Dustin Hodges), Trevor (Paige) Roosien, Rick (Mackenzy) Roosien, Christina (Brett) Barton; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth (Tom) VanHaften; sisters-in-law, Ruth Roosien, Yvonne Pylman, Betty Huizinga, Muriel Moelker; many nieces and nephews.  The family welcomes visitors on Thursday, May 2, from 5 to 8 PM, at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, 49508.  The funeral service will be held at Dutton United Reformed Church, 6950 Hanna Lake SE, Caledonia, 49316, on Friday, May 3, at 11 AM with a visitation prior from 10 to 10:45 AM.  Rev.
