Michael P. Heintzelman, age 67, of Kentwood, MI, was called to his heavenly home on Thursday, April 25, 2024. His parents, Robert and Sally Heintzelman, preceded him in death. Mike will be lovingly remembered by his children, Tony Becktell, Stephanie (Brett) Krynak, Michael Heintzelman; his grandson, Colt; brothers, Mark (Mary) Heintzelman, Robert Heintzelman; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mike retired from Keebler/Kelloggs’ after 40 years of service. He was an avid golfer doing summer outings with friends, indoor golf league in the winter and getting out any chance he could. He also enjoyed fishing with family, even when no fish were to be seen and the day turned into just floating along, watch out dock! He also enjoyed watching a variety of sports and going to baseball, hockey or football games. He was a U of M fan all the way - Go Blue! His most favorite thing was spending time with family whether it was a relaxing Sunday watching football, a warm evening grilling out, or just enjoying a good laugh. His children share in the best memories that he truly was the best father and grandfather. The family will greet visitors from 10 to 11 am on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI where the memorial service will follow and be held at 11 am. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice. |
