Patricia Louise Beckon, age 88, peacefully embraced the arms of Jesus on April 30, 2024. She was born to Ben and Anita Aldrich on February 20, 1936, in Madison, Wisconsin. Patricia was a beacon of love to all who knew her. She was raised in Harbor Springs, Michigan where she met the love of her life, Gordon Beckon, whom she married shortly after graduating High School. They moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan where together they raised their 4 children before retiring to the serenity of their home in the woods in White Cloud, Michigan. Patricia was preceded in death by her daughter, Wanita; and her three sisters, Alta, Dawn, and Benita. Her legacy of love and kindness will be lovingly remembered by her husband of nearly 70 years, Gordon; her children, Linda (Gord) Bryan, Shanon Sharp, Ben (Lisa) Beckon; her cherished grandchildren, Curt (Ashley) Bryan, Katie (Marcus) Ribant, Carly (Michael) Kraima, Alli Sharp, Stephanie Beckon, Alan Beckon; as well as her 9 adoring great grandchildren; brother, Michael Aldrich; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family welcomes visitors on Tuesday, May 7, from 10 - 11 am at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St. SE, Grand Rapids, 49508, where the funeral service will follow at 11 am with Pastor Jon Alexanian, officiating. Patricia will be laid to rest in Readmond Township Cemetery in Cross Village, later in May.  In lieu of flowers donations in Patricia's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
